BECOME A NAUI ADVANCED SCUBA DIVER
Scuba diving classes, lessons, and Information for the San Francisco Bay Area Diver
The NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver course is designed for the certified diver who wishes to gain self-confidence and increase skills and knowledge level. This course introduces divers to a variety of diving activities over a fun filled two days of diving. The required dives are deep diving, navigation diving, and limited visibility diving (dawn or night dive). The other 3 dives are discussed and decided upon by all involved. At the completion of this course you will truly be an Advanced Scuba Diver.

The course consists of a minimum of six dives which are designed to expose you to as many different types of diving opportunities and environments as possible. During the summertime (Abalone season from April 1 to November 30 - minus July) many of my Advanced Scuba Diver classes wish to do their dives at either the Sonoma or Mendocino coast. Some classes opt for all the dives in Monterey, and some prefer boat dives. At our first meeting we decide the needs of the group. We make every effort to customize your Advanced Scuba Diver course to meet the needs of the group.

Incorporated into this advanced diver course is the "NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver Education System" which includes the following:
-advanced diver textbook
-SAC rate calculator
-NAUI decals

All dives during the course will have briefings and debriefings, which will greatly enhance the safety, knowledge, and enjoyment of the dives made during the course.

Applicants must be 15 years of age minimum (junior certification is available for ages 10 to 14 years of age). Students shall furnish and be responsible for the care and maintenance of their own equipment. I will initially assist the student in the checking and set up of equipment to insure it is adequate and in proper working order. If rental equipment is needed it is available at reasonable cost.
